L.A.P.D.

L.A.P.D. is a local band from Los Angeles, consisting of Moses Wheelock (conga, percussion, bg vocals), Richard Shack (guitar), Robert 'Bubba' Keith (vocals), James kehn, Andrew Chapin and John Leland (bass).

The group was formed in the early 70s and first apeard on a project titled 'Live At The Watts Jazz Festival Vol.1,' featuring the 544 secondes 'Compared To What'.

The  group  released  one  LP 
featuring the 

L.A.P.D.

L.A.P.D.

killer cuts 'Uncle Tom's Cabin' and 'Big Herm'. Moses Wheelock went on to play with Lee Oscar and the group WAR. His craft can be heard on WAR's 'The World is A Ghetto'(1969), 'Why Can't We Be Friends' (1975), and 'Peace Sign' (1994).
