Victor Lopez, known as "Victor", is a native of the Washington Metropolitan area who’s musical study began early in elementary school while taking private piano and voice lessons throughout middle and high school. During his high school years, Victor was actively involved in his home church Youth Ministry while leading worship and founding a youth choir who sang and performed most all works composed and arranged by Victor.

After having won many titles in County Wide, District, and State vocal and piano competitions, he continued his education while attending Longwood College for 2 years. He further studied at Oral Roberts University to complete his BA  Degree in  Music Education  with concentrations in both

piano and voice. During his senior year at ORU, Victor founded a small Bible study that quickly grew to over 200 students in attendance. This experience would later prepare him for the ministry that was awaiting him in his home community.

As a classically trained pianist and vocalist, Victor began traveling to local churches ministering through music and the spoken word. In 1994, while ministering in various churches, he founded Victor Lopez & Company, a traveling gospel group singing original worship songs composed by Victor. In this same year, he married his high school sweetheart, Rhonda, and further went on to pursue a teaching career while teaching music in both public and private schools. During this season, Victor composed and accumulated many original compositions such as worship tunes, solo works, choir arrangements, and children’s music and plays for circulation in local churches. As the demand and popularity of his teaching style and music grew, Victor opened the doors of Lopez Studios, Inc. Performing Arts School in the late 1990’s to offer instruction in the performing arts with a Christ-centered philosophy and a special emphasis on character development. Today, Lopez Studios, Inc. stands with over 200 students participating in its programs and has become one of the fastest growing performing arts schools in Northern Virginia.

After years of requests for his music, Victor began production of an independent album. As the sole writer, producer, and arranger, the vision of this project would lead him to create an independent label to release his debut project as well as "house" both a publishing and production branch. Light2Path Music was the result of this great endeavor.

Victor’s life-long vision is to promote the gospel through his music and set a high standard of excellence and integrity in music and ministry.

My music is just one avenue to share with the world how God has truly touched and changed my life. This debut project is just the beginning of my story that I hope to be sharing for years to come!"

Victor and his wife Rhonda are proud parents of 2 children: Victor Jr. and Marisa Loren.
