On July 10, 11, and 12, 2026, North Sea Jazz Festival celebrates its 50th anniversary! The festival presents a carefully curated program featuring the best jazz, R&B, funk, blues, and soul. It's the festival that celebrates the diversity of these musical styles and where you'll be amazed by musical masterpieces in every room. The current line-up (confirmed to date) Friday July 10th: Asaf Avidan, Bilal, Diana Krall, Esperanza Spalding Grace Bowers Jalen Ngonda, James Brandon Lewis Quartet, Jon Batiste, Joshua Redman Quartet, Patricia Brennan Septet, Questlove & Friends, Sienna Spiro, Sharky Puppy & Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley Steve Coleman & Five Elements, The Isley Brothers, The Roots with special guests Bilal and Jon Batiste, Vincen Garcia. What’s stronger than the bond of four hyper-musical brothers? Not much, as brothers Regi (guitar), Roy (drums), Joseph (keyboards), and Victor (bass) prove on stage. The latter was hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest bassists of all time. Together, The Wooten Brothers have earned ten Grammy Awards, 26 nominations, and more than fifty years of collective performing experience.

This rock-solid band shared the stage with Curtis Mayfield when they were still teenagers. Their music is an irresistible, virtuosic melting pot of funk, soul, jazz, R&B, and rock. During this tour, they will perform both new material and unreleased work from the ’70s and ’80s, including the legendary saxophone parts of their brother Rudy, who passed away in 2010.

Woop-woop, that's the sound of da police. The Teacha, a.k.a. The Blastmaster, a.k.a. The Philosopher, a.k.a. Big Joe Krash, a.k.a. KRS-One, is coming to the Netherlands with his "My Philosophy Tour"! He rose to fame in the '80s with Boogie Down Productions. After going solo in the '90s, his influence resonated throughout the hip-hop genre. We all know "Sound of da Police," but "Step into a World (Rapture's Delight)," "MC's Act Like They Know," and "A Friend" are also classics by him. For almost 50 years, this legend has been touring the world. His political statements and messages remain just as powerful as ever.
